Jaken

Sesshomaru's little Imp demon servant. Who is extremely loyal to Sesshomaru, often praising his master's greatness. Jaken uses the Staff of Heads, a staff that has the head of an old man and a woman. The man's head can spit out fire.  Jaken is constantly abused by Sesshomaru, but he is so devoted to his master that he does not care.

rin

An orphan girl whose family were killed by bandits. Rin travels with Sesshomaru. After Sesshomaru was wounded from his battle with Inuyasha and Totosai. Rin found him and tried nurse him back to health. Shortley after, she was attacked and killed by a pack of Kouga's wolves, he recognized her scent in the air and followed it to her dead body. Remembering what she tried to do for him he revived her using his Tenseiga. Since then, she is almost always by Sesshomaru's side.

kikyo

The priestess who had the power to purify the Shikon Jewel. Kikyo is a powerful priestess known for her incredible archery skills. She once guarded the Shikon Jewel and maintained its purity. Until an evil, shape-shifting demon named Naraku took on the form of Inuyasha, (her former love interest). and struck her down. Kikyo didn't know that it wasn't really Inuyasha who killed her and took her grudge for him to her grave. She died hating him for "betraying" her. 50 years later Kikyo is resurrected using her remains and soil from her gravesite with unfinished business.

Kohaku

Younger brother of Sango, and newly trained demon slayer. Kohaku was resurrected by Naraku after he killed his father and fellow demon slayer crew while possessed by Naraku's webs. Naraku brainwashed Kohaku, taking his traumatic memories away by using a shard of the Shikon Jewel, which was embedded in his back to keep him alive. He briefly regains his memories, only to have them removed again. He encounters his sister multiple times, and each time he claims that her face seems familiar even though he cannot remember it. Kohaku is often held over Sango's head and used to manipulate her heart.

Kaede

Kikyo's younger sister. An elder priestess who lives in a village near the Bone-Eater's Well. She was the first to encounter Kagome and she often provides important advice and background information to Inuyasha's group to assist in their journey; she was Kikyo's younger sister. Although a patient person, Kaede can sometimes be very serious and aggressive. Kaede adopts many similar personalities and characteristics from her sister.

Koga

The young leader of the eastern wolf-demon tribe. He first meets Inuyasha as an opponent in battle, but later becomes a reluctant, occasional ally despite maintaining a strong sense of rivalry with the 'useless mutt' about their relative combat strengths, as well as Koga's persistent courtship of Kagome Higurashi.  Although Koga often flirts with Kagome, it is later revealed that he has promised Ayame, another wolf demon, to make her his wife.

Kanna

Naraku's first incarnation. She has the power to absorb attacks and souls into her mirror and later displayed the ability to summon a glass guardian to copy attacks of her enemies. She is quiet and very stoic, showing almost no emotion. She is resigned to the fact that she is nothing more than Naraku's tool and does not try to change it like her sister, Kagura.  Kanna kills herself following the orders of Naraku.

Kagura

Naraku's second incarnation, a wind sorceress. Kagura was created along with Kanna by Naraku to serve him, although she utterly despises him and wants him dead so she can have her freedom. Unfortunately for her, her heart lies in Naraku's hands, preventing her from openly betraying him. Kagura uses a fan to enhance her powers; she can create a blade-like tornado or use wind to animate dead bodies. She can also use her feather hair-ornaments as transportation, enlarging them to ride in the wind.
